FCC Medio Ambiente publishes its Sustainable Finance Report 2024
FCC Medio Ambiente, within its Green Financing Framework updated on 14th February 2023, has published its Sustainable Finance Report 2024, which details the total amount allocated to eligible green projects and the amount allocated by project category, complying with the regulatory frameworks established in the Green Bond Principles of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) and in the Green Loan Principles of the Loan Market Association (LMA).
The information on the use of funds refers to the allocations made during the year 2023 and includes projects carried out during 2021, 2022 and 2023, having allocated the total of €600 million from the bond issued on 30 October 2023, with a 6-year maturity.
This document continues the company's policy of complete transparency and commitment to making available to customers, stakeholders and the general public a Sustainable Finance Annual Report detailing the allocation of net proceeds reported from Green Bond and Green Loan issues.
Also in accordance with FCC Medio Ambiente's commitment to annually hire an external auditor, this report has been reviewed and verified by DNV, which ensures that the distribution of funds to various green projects complies with the criteria established in its Green Financing Framework.
