As it has been doing since the first edition in 2011, FCC Medio Ambiente is present once again at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona as a Global Partner.

The congress, which held its thirteenth edition from 5th to 7th November, is the benchmark event for smart cities and the world's largest and most influential forum on urban innovation.
 
This year under the slogan ‘Cities Living Better Through Innovation’, FCC Medio Ambiente has focused its participation on innovation as the integrating element of all the axes of its 2050 Sustainability Strategy. The stand has been a great success in terms of attendance, thanks to the collaboration of numerous professionals and specialists and the great interest shown by those attending the event.

In this context, the company held the world premiere of its innovative H2TRUCK, the first 100% electric chassis-platform for urban service vehicles powered by a hybrid hydrogen cell and lithium-ion battery system, which could also be visited in the Tomorrow Mobility area of the congress. The platform was awarded at the 2024 World Smart City Awards in the Energy and Urban Environment category. This accolade is a recognition of the company's innovative DNA and a boost to its work in electric and sustainable mobility.

FCC Medio Ambiente shows once again its commitment to the city of Barcelona and the sustainable development of smart cities.
