From FCC Medio Ambiente we want to convey our solidarity and condolences to all the people who are suffering the terrible consequences of the DANA, especially in the Valencian Community. In the early hours of this morning 18 volunteer workers from the street cleaning and waste collection contracts in the city of Madrid have moved to collaborate in the tasks of sanitation, unblocking and cleaning. Up to 23 specialized machines (loaders, pump trucks and dump trucks, among others) are already at the disposal of the affected localities to help the authorities and specialized personnel in the recovery of roads and public spaces. In the coming hours, more troops and material resources will be brought in from other cities to contribute as much as possible to alleviate the effects of this tragedy.
