Advanced techniques for the development of new thermoplastic COMposites in high added value application sectors

The aim of the project "Advanced techniques for the development of new thermoplastic COMposites in high added value application sectors" (COMPLAST) is to obtain new thermoplastic composites for high added value applications in the aeronautical, railway and automotive sectors. In this sense, it is hoped to obtain thermoplastic composites with improved properties, which are recyclable and/or incorporate recycled materials.

The COMPLAST project is made up of 8 companies (ANGLÈS TEXTIL, FCC AMBITO S.A., TEXFIRE TEXTILS TECNICS, S.L., BERBETORES INDUSTRIAL, S.L., MAIER, S.COOP., LTD, ORBELAN PLÁSTICOS, S.A., SOFITEC AERO, S.L.U. and ABEKI COMPOSITES, S.L.), 4 subcontracted research centres (AITEX, GAIKER, TECNALIA and CIDETEC) and 2 Universities (University of Girona and Public University of Navarra).

The COMPLAST project began on 1 January 2023 and will end on 30 June 2026 (duration 3 years and 6 months). The approved budget for FCC Ámbito is 500.737€. Call: Research and Development Project of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI)
